Anthroposophic Medicine

Dr. Pautz also practices Anthroposophic Medicine.

As of 2023, anthroposophic medicine is recognized by the World Health Organization. Anthroposophic medicine is an integrative medical system, an extension of conventional medicine, incorporating an integrative holistic approach to man and nature and to illness and healing. It takes into consideration the entirety of the human condition, fine-tuning each person’s highly specific medical and therapeutic needs. It was founded in the early 1910s by Rudolf Steiner.

It incorporates a specialized homeopathy, different from classical homeopathy, herbal and biodynamically grown plant based remedies, spiritual and lifestyle counseling, and also biographical work. It works with Art Therapy and a special movement form called Eurythmy that can be used therapeutically.

As with other more holistic and integrative approaches, body work, in specific Dr. Hauschka rhythmic massage, foods that are biodynamically grown, as well as water applications (also called hydrotherapy), rhythm, light therapy, reconnecting with nature, are all fundamentals of anthroposophic medicine.
